The coffee was very good, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. There was plenty of seating, including beautiful sofas, and the restrooms were clean. The staff making the coffee were friendly, and there was no wait time, which was a plus. The only downside was the pastries. We tried the coffee cake and the chocolate cake. The coffee cake was okay, but it seemed to be missing something in the flavor. I've had coffee cake at many places and also make it myself, so I felt this one could use some improvement. The chocolate cake was extremely sweet, especially the thick topping on top, which seemed like Nutella. Unfortunately, the cake itself didn't have much chocolate flavor. We weren't able to finish it, and considering the price, it wasn't worth it. Overall, I would definitely come back for the coffee, the comfortable space, and the excellent service—but I would probably skip the pastries next time.

The cafe shop itself has a very good vibe and nice staff and pretty store.however, the cakes were very disappointing. Specifically we tried two types of milk cake, not good at all. Good for coffee/tea or just hanging out. Not good sweet here P.s.: we did not finish the chocolate milk cake, however, as we paid almost $24, we tried to finish the coffee milk cake :)

Very unique atmosphere and I love that it’s open later than most coffee shops, makes it a great space to come in and do work. The tres leches cakes are also very flavorful. I tried the fig latte and the flavor wasn’t very strong at all so that would be my only minor note. Other than that I’d definitely come again!

Newly opened Cafe del Mondo is one of those spots in downtown Utica that’s easy to like. The place itself is cute and cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it good for hanging out or just enjoying a quiet coffee. There’s even a pool table if you’re there with friends, which adds a nice touch you don’t usually see in a café. Arabic music playing in the background gave the place a unique vibe. If you grab a window seat, you get a great view of downtown, including some cool wall graffiti. I tried the Caffè Siciliano for the first time, and it was excellent. The aroma from the dried orange peel paired really well with the espresso; balanced and not overpowering. The owner(I think) took the time to explain the drink, which made the experience feel more personal. It is one of those drinks I would take for a long drive. We also had the Spanish latte and a slice of chocolate cake, and both were on point. Overall, a really nice café with good drinks and a welcoming feel. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

This cafe is absolutely stunning. The owner and her family are so kind and friendly. I am amazed at their attention to detail. The vibe and energy is very warm and inviting. I found my new favorite cafe. 10/10 across the board.
